Daimler this evening unveiled the new 2015 Smart ForTwo - the third iteration of the world's most recognisable city car. Retaining many of the details that made the original ForTwo so popular, the new Smart features all-new tech with a fundamentally new architecture. City driving is the ForTwo’s bread and butter.
A perception that young people are less and less attracted to motorbikes provides the theme for the first Intermot-IVM Design Award competition. The Motorcycle Industry Association of Germany (IVM e.V.) and the Trade Fair Munich/Intermot have decided to intensively take care of their young clients with several activities this year. As young people are no longer inspired by superb technology alone, but are impressed more and more visually, it is only logical to place a greater emphasis on the design of the bike in winning over young customers.

Having trouble parking? Japanese manufacturer Fujitsu has announced the world’s first 360-degree camera for cars, giving drivers a panoramic view of what’s around them. It’s a slightly controversial claim, as Nissan showed a similar system in 2007, but Fujitsu says its new camera has various technical firsts.
